Waste Clearance Services in Leeds & Across Yorkshire

Need to clear out a house, office or garage? We’re fully licensed waste carriers – we’ll do the lifting, the loading, and make sure everything is disposed of responsibly.

Fully Licensed Waste Carriers

Yorkshire Van Man is registered with the Environment Agency as a fully licensed and insured waste carrier – Licence No. CBDU327322. Every load we collect is sorted by category and taken to a local recycling centre for responsible disposal. We’re not the cheapest option, and we’re upfront about that. What you’re getting is a team that handles your waste properly, legally, and without cutting corners.

We clear pretty much anything – sofas, wardrobes, desks, white goods, office partitions and more. Stairs and tight corridors are no problem. If you’re not sure whether we can help, just give us a call.

What Types of Waste Do We Clear?

We dispose of all waste by category – separating materials is key to responsible disposal, and it helps us give you an accurate quote.

When getting in touch for a quote, it helps to have your waste roughly separated into categories so we can give you an accurate price.

*Food waste is the one thing we don’t take – bin wagons are much better equipped for that.

Why Not Just Hire a Skip?

Skips have their place, but for most household and office clearances, we’re the better option.

1

No parking permission needed

Placing a skip on a public street requires council permission. We park up, load up and leave – no paperwork required.

2

We do the lifting

Loading a skip yourself is hard work. Our team handles everything – stairs, corridors and all.

3

More capacity than you'd think

Our Luton vans hold up to 20 cubic metres of waste – nearly double the capacity of a standard skip.

4

Better for most waste types

For heavy rubble or construction waste, a skip can be the right call and we’ll say so. For everything else, give us a shout.

A Few Things Worth Knowing Before We Arrive

Make sure it's accessible

We’ll need somewhere to park close by, and a clear route to carry the waste to the van. The easier the access, the quicker the job.

Keep it dry if you can

Wet waste is heavier, harder to shift and more expensive to dispose of. Keep furniture and other items inside or covered until we arrive.

No food waste

We don’t clear food waste. Everything else — just ask.

Waste Clearance - Your Questions Answered

Are you licensed to carry waste?

Yes – we’re fully registered with the Environment Agency as a licensed waste carrier. Licence No. CBDU327322.

How do you price waste clearance jobs?

Our charges are based on the type and volume of waste, reflecting the fees we pay for responsible disposal. Separating your waste into categories before we arrive helps us give you a more accurate quote.

Can you clear a full house or office?

Yes – we’ve handled everything from single rooms to full office blocks. Get in touch and we’ll talk through what’s involved.

Do you offer bereavement clearances?

We do, and we handle these jobs with the care they deserve. We can provide invoices for your solicitor or administrator if required.

Do I need to be there on the day?

Not necessarily – as long as we have access to the property and a clear idea of what needs clearing, we can get on with the job.

What waste can't you clear?

We don’t take food waste. For heavy rubble or construction waste, a skip is usually the better option – and we’ll always tell you honestly if that’s the case.
